Models, Fabric & the Contest!

So yes, I'm in need of more models! I need an adorable little girl who can wear size 9 months, 12 months or 18 months. I'd prefer a walker.. but I understand if she can't yet. haha. It'd be nice to find a little lady who could fit into that range, we can always pin clothes in the back for the pictures, to make something too big fit right. Also... I'm trying really hard to decide which fabric to use for my 2nd Fall Line! I'm close to being done with the first line and am hoping I'll get pictures in the next week or two. I'm also on the lookout for Xmas fabrics so that I can start on some pieces for Xmas. I'm posting pics of the 4 lines that I'm now choosing from for the new Fall Line! Let me know what you think.

So.Much.Sewing.

I'm pretty sure that I feel like I have a full time job again. Kinda. Of course, I don't have to leave the house to do my "work", but finding the time to cut, iron, sew, cut, iron and sew... while trying to make meals, change diapers, do dishes and laundry, do school drop offs and pick ups, check homework and most importantly spend time with my kids and hubby is proving to be a little bit more stressful than I originally thought it was.

But.. now that school HAS started, it's given me a push back into my normal routine, which has changed a bit. I've decided to make myself an actual schedule, so that hopefully I can find a good balance for me and for my family! I am enjoying the sewing though, which is important.. because if I ever stop liking it, then I'll stop Eisley Rae. I refuse to do something that i don't love and right now, I love this!

So.. this week I was finally able to start on the fall line. I'm starting with a peasant dress, ruffle pants and a super cute skirt. Once I get those finished, photographed (by Tammie of course) and up in my shop, I'll start working on the next few pieces. Those will most likely be a peasant top (long sleeve), some sort of little swing jacket (maybe in corduroy!) and more dresses of course!

I'm taking custom orders, all of the time. I've also done a few polos for a customer (Thanks, Dori!) that turned out adorable and really dressed up the plain ol' uniform polo! Another thing I've been working on is Jammie Pants.. flannel, comfy, cozy, perfect for fall & winter. There is sizing and pricing info on my Facebook page for the Jammie Pants. I'm planning on getting some really adorable Christmas prints for the holidays!
