i am so happy that friday is here! this week has been long, i haven't been able to sleep and began to wonder if today would ever get here. do you ever have weeks like that? this weekend will be fun though, because we're going camping. just for one night, but we're all so excited!
we started the weekend off in wrightwood on saturday, just relaxing at one of the local campgrounds.
love this guy! it was so nice to sit around and chat while the kids ran around like crazies!
the stitching hasn't stopped, you guys! i'm addicted. i finally finished up this little owl that i'd been working on between orders. i'm in l.o.v.e. isn't he adorable?
hello, beautiful!! this big pyrex beauty was a wedding gift given to my grandma jan & late grandpa arden, over 55 years ago! this weekend, i inherited it. of course i love it because it's gorgeous, but it means so much more than any pyrex i've found in a thrift store or at a yard sale.. because of it's history.
the other evening i ran into michaels for more embroidery hoops (which they were out of, as usual) and stumbled upon a bunch of 80% off clearance! plates & napkins for brookelyn's little birthday slumber party, a set of 4 slate/chalkboard coasters (for 60 CENTS) and a nested set of wooden boxes.. all for $5.30!
clearance makes my heart happy, especially when we're trying to save & not spend!
recently i found out the my friends sister wrote a trilogy. isn't that awesome? i started reading it the other night & am close to being done. it's actually pretty good and i can't wait to share more about it next week!
the 28th was my little blogs 2 year birthday and i totally forgot. so, it might have been a couple of days late but i wanted to celebrate somehow.. by giving one of my loyal readers a custom hoop art! you can still enter, here.
this shelf is one of my favorite new things in our bathroom. the scallopy bottom is so pretty and i love how pretty it looks white, rather than the ugly original brown that it was. my current search is for something fun to put up there on the top shelves. a pretty print would be fun!
my poor sweet boy. he was so sad to say goodbye to brookelyn when she went off to a dodgers game without him. i just hope that they love each other this much forever. brookelyn was so kind & comforting to him though and promised him that she'd be home the next day to play with him again!
wednesday night.. girls night in. on google+ that is! if you've not done a "hangout" on google+ with your friends (or family), you need to! Alli, Lisa, Chelsea & Jen were TONS of fun to hang out with and we all can't wait to do it again. love you girls!
today the kids & i headed to my moms to swim and i got some crafting done while there.
loving my new neon bow clutch from alissa. i forgot all about a shop credit that i'd won a little while ago.
you know.. just stitchin' while we swim. until my needle broke that is.
approximately 2 seconds after this picture was taken. but, the kids and i had a great time in the pool today.
today i was tagged by my rad friend chelsea to post my phones lock screen and home screen. are you really surprised at what you see? ;) what i love most it that little mail box down there though.. see that? NO emails, because i spent last night & this morning getting caught up! such a good feeling.
i'd love to follow you on instagram, if i don't already. feel free to follow me: eisleyrae.
how was your week? tell me all about it! i'd love to hear.
also, next week i *might* get brave and post a vlog. keyword: might. we'll see!
here's to a fabulous weekend. xoxo
linking up with jeannett for instafriday.

The pyrex bowl is great too :) even better like you said since it was a family heirloom!
That owl hoop is adorable! =)
Pyrex bowls are my total antique shop downfall! And yours is even better being from your grandma :)

Did you design your buttons? If you did, do you have them available for sale or any similar? I really love them!
That owl is adorable!
