productive.

what was your week like?
mine was productive! i got so much done, while still taking some time to relax, hang out with the kids and Matt and even fit in some shopping.

i'm finally almost all caught up with orders and it feels great!
tomorrow the last few left will ship out.
it's so much fun when people ask for states that i haven't yet stitched.

not having a "work" space set up yet in our house is driving me nuts! this weekend i'm on the hunt for a table or desk to put in my crafting space. this whole.. working from a tiny table isn't cutting it anymore.

this past weekend cohen had his first official play date with his friend from school, Joey.
this little guy was SO excited that he insisted on combing his own hair.

we're so proud that brookelyn has decided to join the school orchestra!
she played violin a couple of years ago, so it's nice to see her interested again.

an OLD police call box that brookelyn & i saw in milwaukee. SO cool.
the vintage lover in me gets so excited to see fun, old pieces like this throughout the city!

donuts, maple and bacon? YES, please! oh my gawd! we'd heard that this was amazing and it was.
sunday morning donuts, coffee, friends and movies.. great way to start the day.

this makes me SO happy. i FINALLY got some chalk (thanks to a friend) and was able to erase the "happy fall y'all" that had been on the chalkboard since October. this spot in our house is one of my favorite little spots. it's so happy!

that would be the side of my car, covered in a sheet of ice. SO crazy and definitely not something we'd ever seen before. and, it stayed that way for almost a whole day. it's COLD here, man!

you might have seen this floating around on instagram. i was tagged, and then tagged a few people.
it's so fun to read random facts about our friends.

remember what it said about it being cold? yeah, thank goodness for coats, hats, scarves and mittens.
especially because next week is supposed to be REALLY cold. and also, i love that sweet smile.

a police officer visited cohen's class at school. listening to him tell us all about what she taught them was adorable. he was SO excited and wanted to move his sticker from his shirt to his jammies even.

we've got a three day weekend and we don't have plans until monday!
and even then, mondays plans include visiting a couple of old barns filled with antiques.
can't complain about plans like that! what are you doing this weekend?
hope it's a good one.

OH! and my lovely sponsors and i are giving away a $100 Pottery Barn Gift Card, so you should definitely go enter HERE.
this months in post feature ad - sponsor is..

I had to laugh at the fact that you're just now changing your fall sign, but hey, that's real life, right?

How sweet that Cohen combed his hair to get ready for his play date! And I totally love that vintage police call box - I've never seen one!
