happy friday y'all! i'm am SO excited for the weekend. not that we have any big plans or anything. just having matt home with us is enough for me to be excited. how was your week?
it's not often that i post #throwbackthursday or #flashbackfriday pics, but last week i had fun finding a couple of cute one. hard to believe that soon that little newborn will be 5, FIVE, CINQUE, CINCO!! how does this happen? and, that curly haired girl will be 10! craziness, man.
2 years ago we were here in milwaukee on vacation, hoping that the next time we came back it'd be to stay.
proof that dreams come true and hard work pays off in the end.
a trip to trader joe's and a treat for me. if you have a tj's and haven't tried the PB&J chocolate bar, you're missing out. delicious. it's one of my favorite things to grab for a little treat. oh target. you get me every time... my sweet friend Lisa is due very soon with a precious baby girl and i can't WAIT to do some shopping! wish those outfits came in brookelyn's size!
over the weekend we spent lots of time together as a family. we even broke out the wii (which doesn't happen often at all) and did some bowling.
oh- and i won!
hotel transylvania has quickly become one of our go-to family movies. it's SO cute.
nothing like your 4 yr old serenading you on a sunday morning, begging for donuts.
this week i did something that i LOVE doing. something i'd never done for anyone but myself. i created a (very detailed) daily schedule for a blog friend of mine. she needed some help with time management, so i offered. and, she was crazy excited to see what i came up with. this was SO much fun to do too, especially because i could catch up on the bachelor while doing it!
have you seen this fabulous sale?! i decided to extend it again to give anyone who wants in on it a chance to snag some ad space for march. so, the code will work for another day or so. i'm hoping to have a BIG 1,000 follower giveaway towards the end of the month and would love for you to be a part of it!
this week we got the most snow that we've had here this winter and since us moving to wisconsin. seriously, SO much snow and it just kept falling. the kids are loving it. matt & i have shoveled a LOT and despite that, no, we still do not regret moving here. sure, it's taken some adjusting and things take a bit longer in the snow, but our neighborhood is WAY too awesome for us to not want to live here. and, the kids had their first snow day. in fact, it was our schools first snow day in years i've been told!
...and on snow days, we make cookies! anything to keep those two from bickering all day.
but, then of course we eat the cookies. with some tea, some tunes and some blogging.
the remainder of our week was pretty laid back.
we're looking forward to a low key weekend. not much going on and we're very happy about that. i've got not one, but TWO awesome giveaways up on the blog right now..
do you like to be on the go all weekend? or home, relaxing and spending time together?
hope you enjoy your weekend!

Hello, time management! I'd love to see what you came up with for your friend! We're in MN and got a ton of snow too, but no snow days for our district. Boo. I feel like we should at least get one per year! Enjoy your weekend :)
Aaaw...Kids grow so fast!
I will have to get that PB&J chocolate bar and try it. I haven't visited Trader Joe's in awhile, because it's a bit out of the way. Next time I go, I'm grabbing one of those to try!
OMG, we haven't pulled out the Wii in a long time. Congrats on your bowling win! =0)
Cookies sound yummy, even without a snow day!
Have a great weekend,
Kim

It's so fun to look back on the photos of the kids when they're little. So fast it goes! // 1,000 followers, wow! I'm waiting to break the 40 follower ceiling. LOL. (I'm not really holding my breath though, so.) // Snow days, yay! Cookies, yay! // So glad you are still liking your move to the Cold and Snow, even after experiencing the winter. // Enjoy your weekend with the hubs. xo, ab
Love seeing your photos! Your transition to WI seems like its gone so smoothly! I am so impressed! Apparently my parents moved us to the wrong city when we got here lol because it was a huge adjustment and took years to settle. I'm so happy for you friend!! Honestly, I was a bit nervous for you guys to move but so happy you are closer :) oh, and awesome job in wii bowling hehe
I have never seen the PB&J bar at Trader Joes, but you can bet I'm snatching up one of those bad boys next time I go!
You just made me want to pay a visit to tader Joes. YUM!! And snow, snow, snow sounds just like the weather around where i'm from. So depressing for me!
Wish I had a Trader Joes close to me!! So jealous.
